A browser-based product operated by Wendell Labs, LLC. Product facts updated October 8, 2026.
Who it is for
Parents helping with piano homework, adults returning to music, teachers supporting practice between lessons, and creators making piano visuals. SheetSnap is a practice and authoring tool, not a complete piano curriculum or a substitute for individual teaching.
What SheetSnap does
- Annotated piano scores with inline note names and explanations of detected notation symbols.
- Measure loops and progressive speed training with configurable increments and pass counts.
- Live MIDI recording and generated scores you can review; separate microphone audio recording.
- Style Studio keyboard materials, falling-note looks and beta creator video exports.
- Private versioned backups for verified signed-in score libraries and saved takes, with clear capacity and restore controls.
Files, devices and access
Free starters and basic recording can be tried without a purchase. User score imports require eligible Pro access. Import uncompressed MusicXML/XML or MIDI; purchased PDFs and proprietary viewers are not guaranteed interactive sources. Hosted photo/AI scanning is currently disabled. Live hardware MIDI requires browser/device support and permission; desktop Chrome or Edge is a practical starting point. Video export remains beta and should be checked on your actual hardware.
