Here, D becomes D♯: the black key immediately to the right of D.
A semitone is one neighboring key, black or white. E♯ is F; B♯ is C.
02 / PRACTICE

No. Start by listening, reading the score, and following the on-screen keyboard. A piano or MIDI keyboard gives you more ways to practice when you're ready.
Browse the starter library and practice its pieces, explore note labels, and try Style Studio. Pro opens practice for your own imported or scanned pieces and additional export options.
Scanning is beta. Clear, flat pages are the best starting point, but recognition can miss notes, rhythms, or sections. Review the result against the original before practicing. MIDI and MusicXML imports avoid photo recognition, though source files can still need correction.
Video export is beta. Paid export limits and watermark conditions will be shown before purchase. Preview and check each export before publishing. Use music, arrangements, and recordings you have the rights to publish.
SheetSnap currently runs in your web browser. This site does not offer an App Store or Google Play download.
